In this topology all the nodes are connected to a central node which further rebroadcast all the transmission received from one node to another node. It is point to point connection between two devices.
Every node is individual connected from the HUB or SWITCH with the help of UTP cable from the one end of HUB or SWITCH with the other end of node having LAN card on in it.
We can connect maximum of 1024 nodes and the maximum segment length 100 meters.
